Our Background
Glenn Seaman, the principal guide/naturalist, has over 33 years professional experience in biology and conservation of marine and coastal areas in Alaska, including over 13 years in the Kachemak Bay and Homer, Alaska area. He is an avid fisherman, birder, and naturalist. To complement his biological background, he is an amateur historian and has keen interest in Alaska history and Alaska Native cultures. Through independent and college study, he continues to expand his knowledge of the marine environment and Alaska culture and history, to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with visitors. Glenn is enrolled in the Cross-Cultural Studies graduate program at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Their vessel -- the Lady Hawke -- is a very comfortable boat with heat, restroom, and other amenities. The boat is equiped with an optional full back cover, as well as a life raft and other safety equipment to meet the Coast Guards advanced safety ratings. This provides greater safety and comfort, and allows us to provide a diversity of activities to our customers.

We strive to help the visitor -- whether from Alaska, other states, or other countries -- more fully experience the variety of adventure experiences that Kachemak Bay has to offer. Kachemak Bay is one the most diverse and productive marine and coastal ecosystems in Alaska, with abundant fish and wildlife resources.
